About Irene arbelo

How to be all of you?

I’m passionate about taking a collaborative approach to help you find the answer! I love accompanying people who want to deepen their self-knowledge and feel at peace with all you. I fully trust that we all have the inner potential to transform ourselves and create the life we want to live. If you feel I can be the right professional for you, let's talk.

I am a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico. I joined the US Army and had the opportunity to travel and meet wonderful people along my journey. In 1998 I settled in Washington state, and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Martin’s University and a Master’s degree in Family counseling from Antioch University. I became licensed in 2014 and have over 12 years of experience working with mental health issues such as Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, family conflicts and stress. I am also an approved supervisor for therapist in the start of their journey. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults providing individual, family and/or group therapy. I approach my work using a client-centered, strengths-based model. My methodology consists of looking for the things that are useful and make sense to you. I don't work in a standardized way and that's why each therapeutic process is unique. My proposal is that we can discover together what YOU need.

You will learn and grow; my job is to help you uncover your strengths and purpose. You will guide the direction you want to go and will be in charge every step of the way. There are endless ways within yourself that we can explore. I will support you as you become more in touch with yourself, achieve your goals and change in the direction you choose.
